Breaking the Familiar

God said:

“I’m breaking your usual patterns - usual day to day things. Minute but engraved patterns. This is the foundation for the new I’m drawing you to.”

I want to expound:

Don’t be surprised when you find yourself doing things - not opposite of how you normally do them - but different than how you normally do them.

It could be something as small as introducing a new color to your wardrobe. Choosing a different route home. Trying a new dish/item on the menu.

Look for God in this. Don’t hesitate and question why you are being led in this direction. Just flow with God.

Some of you God wants to break you from what you’re familiar with. You’re looking for Him through what you’re familiar with. You’re hearing by what you’re familiar with.

This is what the shift is all about.

He says it must first start in the mind. And these won’t necessarily be “unusual encounters” - they’re only different - because you’re set on hearing, seeing, and recognizing God one way.

Don’t rebel - don’t stay stuck in the: “I always do it this way, I always go this way, I always order this way, etc.”

Allow God to shift you into this new realm.

Same physical place - new spiritual vision & mindset.

Stay alert. Be obedient. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
