What If???

Updated: Jul 25, 2023

Leaders:

If everyone in your corner walked away today, how would you respond?

If your ministry bookings dwindled down to zero and you are no longer invited to minister at other ministries, what would you do? How would you respond?

If your social media became dry and now you barely get one like on your posts, how would you respond?

What if you learned that everyone you thought was for you, is actually against you - and they were pretending the entire time - just long enough to steal or sabotage, what would be your response?

What if God told you to shut down your physical church and go to the streets to preach? Could you do it? Or would pride be in the way?

I want to remind you that this is why God carries us through seasons of solitude. Especially (but not limited to) His Prophets. It’s in these seasons where He builds our faith and trust in Him.

This is where character is built.

Many are gifted - but lack character.

God has to shift some from people pleasing. Those who’s value and identity is tied up in the responses of man.

He has to make us so strong in Him - that when or if everyone walks away - we’re not preaching bitterness and bleeding on others - but yet and still we continue to preach the gospel - without any Amens - without any claps - without any shout outs - without any recognition.

The question I ask Leaders today:

Why are you in ministry? What made you start a church? Why do you lead, pastor, preach, teach, minister, prophesy, evangelize, etc…. Why do you do what you do?

And although your answer may be the same as it was when you first started - I want to say that God said many have gotten away from their Godly motives and purpose for being in ministry.

Some have done away with preaching Christ - and now it’s all about sowing - all about relationships - all about people - all about self - all about conferences in the aspect of making money instead of winning souls.

This is a call to the Leaders of God to revisit your why.

Are you doing what God assigned and purposed for you, or are you doing what you were told by man (without the counsel of God), what you heard, or what you wanted to do?

I don’t apologize for the lengthy post. I pray you read it until the end. I pray you take time to share it - because God desires His leaders to do away with compromising and operating outside of His will.

Just because we are in ministry, just because we preach, just because we teach, just because we have a church, just because we evangelize, just because we are an apostle, just because we prophesy, just because we are plastered all over flyers and social media - this doesn’t mean we are in the will of God - or doing the will of God.

God is assessing motives….. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
