Nothing in our lives should replace or interfere with our intimate time with God.
Who do you know better:
God, or your spouse?
God, or your children?
God, or your employer?
God, or church? š©
God, or your church family?
God, or your favorite preacher?
When I think āintimacyā I think onenessā¦one accord.
Our intimacy with God will cause us to become one with Him.
Have you ever been to dinner with someone you know very well, and you were seated before they were? When the waiter/waitress came to take drink orders you knew what to order for yourself and them. You didnāt have to wait to ask them what they wanted to drink.
This is symbolic to the intimacy God desires with us. Not just to spend time together, but in that time get to really KNOW Him - who He is in OUR life.
We say we love God, but do we really KNOW God?
